Since I have had the last two weeks off, I have had time to do lots more stitching and knitting. Today I finished a knitted scarf that I had started last winter. I didn't get it finished before winter was over so I had just put it away. I used a purple Paton's Twister. Also finished the socks that I was knitting for myself. Nothing fancy, just a basic sock. I was very pleased with the way they came out. And the best part.... They fit! I'm wearing them right now. I've never had wool socks before and was anxious to see how warm they are. Their feeling pretty cozy.
I found a freebie pattern tonight for men's socks so just got my husband a pair started. Hopefully they will turn out as well as mine.
